Virendra Saini

National Award winning cinematographer. Did camerawork for Mani Kaul, Sai Paranjpye, Kundan Shah, Vinod Chopra, and Bhimsain. Best known for his cinematography in Saeed Akhtar Mirza’s Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro (1989).

Current Director of FTII. Kaintola is an IIS officer who over the years held the posts of Director of PIB, the Indian Panorama, the National Film Awards, & DAVP; & Additional Director General, Doordarshan (News).


Subhamoy Sengupta

Course director. Sengupta (FTII—direction batch of 1996) assisted director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 'Khamoshi’ and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, directed innumerous single-episode crime thrillers for Star and Zee, and is the co-owner of the production house ‘Nitric Films’.

Bela Negi

Course director. Negi (FTII—Film Editing batch of 1997) assisted film editor Renu Saluja on four Hindi films, is the writer-director-editor of ‘Daayen Ya Baayen, and the co-owner of the production house ‘Nitric Films’.
